These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Mooduna application and website at mooduna.app (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, the user ("User") agrees to be bound by these Terms. Users who do not agree must not access or use the Service.
The Service is a digital mood-tracking and personal-wellbeing application that supports self-reflection and personal awareness. Features include the logging of moods, habits, and symptoms; reflection on emotional patterns; guided breathing exercises; and an AI-powered reflection feature ("Mooduna AI") and AI-generated personal summaries ("Your Story"). The Service is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use.
The Service is available only to Users aged 15 years or older. Persons under 15 may not access or create an account. Users between 15 and 18 (or the age of legal majority in the User's jurisdiction) may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By accessing or using the Service, the User represents and warrants that:
Mooduna is not responsible for verifying parental or guardian consent and disclaims liability for any misrepresentation of age. Parents and legal guardians remain responsible for the acts and omissions of minors under their supervision.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials, for providing accurate information at registration, and for notifying Mooduna without undue delay of any unauthorised access to or use of the User's account.

The Service offers optional paid subscriptions ("Premium") that unlock additional features. Premium is offered as monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans. Current pricing, plan inclusions, and any applicable taxes are displayed within the Service at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe using industry-standard protocols. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from Settings → Billing; upon cancellation, the User retains access to Premium features until the end of the then-current billing period.
Lifetime plans grant access for the operational lifetime of the Service and do not guarantee perpetual or unlimited future availability. Lifetime access is contingent on the Service remaining commercially available; in the event the Service is discontinued, lifetime users will be notified in accordance with §17. Lifetime purchases are non-refundable. Refunds for monthly and yearly plans are handled in accordance with applicable consumer-protection law.
The Service is a non-clinical digital tool intended for personal reflection, self-awareness, and general wellbeing. It is not a medical, psychological, or healthcare service, and it does not provide medical advice, mental-health advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or crisis intervention. No use of the Service creates a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or other professional relationship between the User and Mooduna or any of its representatives.
All features within the Service — including mood and symptom tracking, journaling, gratitude prompts, insights, breathing exercises, Mooduna AI, and Your Story — are provided for informational and self-reflection purposes only. Any interpretation of, use of, or reliance on such content is at the User's own risk.
The Service is not monitored in real time and is not intended for crisis support, emergency response, or suicide-prevention services. In the event of distress, a mental-health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or any urgent situation, the User must immediately contact a qualified healthcare provider or local emergency or crisis-support services.
Mooduna AI and Your Story are automated, non-clinical systems that generate text-based outputs intended to support reflection. The User acknowledges and agrees that:
Mooduna AI and Your Story are not designed for use by children without parental or legal-guardian involvement. Where the User is below the age of legal majority, the parent or legal guardian assumes responsibility for the use and supervision of these features.
No content or activity within the Service — including low mood scores, concerning notes or journal entries, severity ratings, symptom logs, or gaps in check-ins — triggers any form of intervention, alert, or response by Mooduna. Push notifications are limited to User-configured or system-generated reminders and are not connected to any alert or emergency-response system.
Mooduna does not monitor, review, or act upon User content. Moods, notes, journal entries, symptoms, severity ratings, and check-ins are not read, evaluated, or escalated by Mooduna, and there is no human oversight of such entries. Mooduna will not contact any third party on the User's behalf — including healthcare providers, therapists, schools, social services, family members, or emergency services.
Mooduna does not undertake responsibility for monitoring User wellbeing or providing emergency intervention. Any automated systems that identify patterns or signals within the Service rely on limited data and pattern recognition; they may fail to detect distress or risk and may generate false positives or false negatives. They are not safety mechanisms, monitoring tools, or crisis-detection systems and must not be relied upon for identifying, preventing, or responding to mental-health crises.
Insights, scores, trends, predictions, and AI-generated reflections within the Service may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or misleading, and are provided for informational purposes only.
Push notifications are provided on a best-effort basis. Reminders (including daily mood check-ins, streak nudges, period and migraine prompts, Moments countdowns, and badge reminders) are scheduled by Mooduna but delivered via the User's browser, operating system, and the public Web Push infrastructure. Battery-saver modes, Do-Not-Disturb settings, focus modes, offline devices, expired push subscriptions, browser updates, and operating-system throttling may delay or drop a notification.
Mooduna does not guarantee the delivery, timing, or receipt of any notification and shall not be liable for missed or delayed messages. Users should treat any Mooduna notification as a non-binding reminder and not as a guaranteed alert. The User is advised to access the Service directly to obtain the authoritative state of any time-sensitive information.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mooduna and its creators, owners, developers, affiliates, licensors, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, wellbeing, opportunity, or reputation, or for personal injury, emotional harm, or adverse outcomes, arising out of or related to:
The foregoing limitation applies regardless of the legal theory advanced (whether contract, tort including negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if Mooduna has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law (including, where relevant, EU and UK consumer-protection law).
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Mooduna disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. No guarantee is made that the Service will be error-free, fully secure, or suitable for any specific need.
The User agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mooduna and its creators, owners, developers, affiliates, partners, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
All content, design, code, and branding within the Service are the property of Mooduna and its creators. The User may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.
The processing of personal data in connection with the Service is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the Service, the User consents to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Mooduna implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including password hashing, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), rate-limiting on authentication endpoints, and input sanitisation. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet can be considered fully secure.
The User acknowledges and agrees that:
Mooduna may change, modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature thereof (including Premium features and AI features) at any time, with or without prior notice. Where reasonably practicable, Mooduna will provide advance notice of material changes via in-app notification or email. Discontinuation of the Service shall not give rise to any liability except as expressly required by applicable law in respect of paid subscriptions.
Mooduna shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to internet or hosting outages, cyberattacks, malware, infrastructure failures, third-party service interruptions, governmental actions, civil unrest, pandemics, or natural disasters.
Mooduna reserves the right to suspend or terminate any User's access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, in the event of a breach of these Terms. The User may delete the User's account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete account.
Mooduna may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice and a corresponding update to the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after such changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark, save where mandatory consumer-protection law in the User's country of residence requires otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if it cannot be so modified, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the User and Mooduna regarding the use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.
